Oh, Hello and Secret Garden

Hi Creative Owls,

Hope you all had a lovely weekend. It's almost half way through the work week! Yey!

Today's card features SU's Secret Garden stamp set and framelits and their Oh, Hello stamp set. These are quickly become some of my favs :)

The background is simply one of the stamps in the Oh, Hello set stamped with Versamark over and over until the card was filled. Subtle, but it gives it that extra dimension.

Had to do some layering with the ribbon and key tag punch due to a mistake but hey it turned out alright. :)

The flowers have 3 "layers" to them already which I cut out and popped them out with dimensionals. And then I put some Dazzling Diamonds on the smallest layer. The Whisper White piece of cardstock is embossed with a Polka Dots EF and sponged with Champagne Shimmer Paint with a sponge dauber.

Thanks So Much

Hi Creative Owls,

Today's card was made for a friend who did a HUGE favour for me. Thanks Sarah!

Every time I go to start a card I look at the Core'dinations cardstock and think hmmm can I get away with another card made with that? :) I just love it so much! So of course I used it on this card...guilty.

I stamped the Thanks So Much onto a window sheet with black Stazon Ink and put that in front of an embossed piece of Whisper White cardstock which I dabbed with the Champagne Shimmer Paint.

The flower is made with a few of the smallest framelit in the Floral Frames Framelits pack and one of the second size up.

Secret Garden Birthday Card

Hello Creative Owls!

I love when a stamp set has either a punch or framelits that coordinate with it because it makes creating a card so much easier and faster! Today's card uses Secret Garden from Stampin' UP! which has a matching set of framlits. Yey!

I love the spring colours, Subtles Collection from Stampin' UP!. I recently got the Pool Party Core'dinations and have been using it on EVERYTHING :) I can't seem to use it without sanding it but hey that's what it's for right? ;)

To create the colour in the flowers I used sponge daubers and heavily sponged the middle and then lightly did circles out toward the edges.. For the leaf I used Wild Wasabi Embossing powder. Very simple but very pretty.

Also, I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig for the Happy Birthday so it was perfectly placed.

My Supply List:

Cardstock
 - Rich Razzleberry
 - Whisper White
 - Pool Party Core'dinations
 - Sycamore Street DSP

Ink:
 - Primrose Petals
 - Island Indigo
 - Perfect Plum

Spring to Life MDS Hybrid

Hi Creative Owls!

I know it's been a while since I last posted a card. I was away for awhile and didn't have access to my computer.

I made this card a while ago when the Spring to Life kit first became available. It is such a beautiful kit. If you have MDS then this is a must have!

I like to print out the embellishments to use on my card to give it some dimension. So for this card that is what I did. Everything is printed and cut out and of course I added some bling too!

I also used the Vine Street embossing folder on the Whisper White card base and sponged that with Always Artichoke Ink.

I also dressed up the inside as well because I wanted to use the teapot but couldn't fit it on the front. :) I'm so happy I got it on there!

My supply list:

- Spring to Life MDS kit
